Rowans Law - Action required for TAMHA members
Please see the following article for mandatory action prior to the start of the season for all TAMHA members

Rowan's Law- Action required for ALL members*************

What is Rowan’s Law? Rowan Stringer was a 17-year old Ottawa varsity rugby player who died from sustaining multiple concussions resulting in a catastrophic swelling of the brain – second impact syndrome.
On March 7, 2018, Ontario passed Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety), 2018 and related amendments to the Education Act.
However, it is important to understand that this applies to all Sport Organizations, schools, programs and businesses in the province.  This is not a hockey ‘thing’ – it is legislation (Ontario Regulation 161/19) from the Government of Ontario.

Please read the information below that pertains to the age of the player and than complete the OHF Rowans Law Acknowledgement Form.
House League players parents/guardians are asked to complete the form and submit to TAMHA PRIOR to your child participating in the 1st session.

IT IS MANDATORY PRIOR TO ROSTERING or Stepping FOOT ON THE ICE That EACH PLAYER'S (PARENT/GUARDIAN) PROVIDES A COMPLETED ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM.

TAMHA Will have printed copies of the Acknowledgement Form on the first night of your practice if you do not have access to print off the below acknowledgement form prior to your 1st practice.
