GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

👉 Important, do not just keep scrolling, Please Read 📖

New to hockey families will need to complete the Respect in Sport For Hockey Canada Parents course, and will be required to submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate as part of the registration process.
Please review the Respect in Sports information under the Registration tab, or click on the link below.

This must be completed prior to your player being able to be rostered to a team.

Respect in Sport - Parent Program

Once parents complete the program, an HCR profile will be created and then you can go to our Online Store and register as soon as you have completed the program and complete the 2023/2024 Registration.

U11 (formerly Atom (9+ years old)) and older players who are new to hockey are not able to register through HCR and must contact the registrar for further direction.  This is an OMHA directive.

Registration Instructions:

Registration is done through Hockey Canada Registration (HCR 3.0) The program is very user-friendly. If you get stuck at any time during the process, the link below provides step-by-step instructions for how to register, including how to to recover an account or how to reset a password.

HCR Registration Support
Once the registration process has been completed for all of the players that you wish to register, select the “checkout” option and proceed to the payment stage.

When you have completed the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email from Hockey Canada. If you do not receive this email, your child is not registered!

Some age groups may have caps on team numbers so register early as we cannot guarantee a spot if you fail to register.

We are asking that all players be registered by August 1st, 2024 so we can begin planning for the season.

Early Bird Registration is open from May 13th 2024, and goes until July 1st, 2024.  No extensions.

If the player has played minor hockey in an association other than TAMHA before and wishes to play in Thamesford for the upcoming season, it will be necessary to determine the player's eligibility to play in Thamesford based on OMHA's residency rules.

REGISTRATION FEES

Our rates reflect ice rental and referee rates, and the elimination of gate fees by OMHA (gate fees have heavily subsidized the cost of referees in the past), we are faced with no choice but to increase registration fees for the 2023-2024 season.

In March 2018, the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) changed how Residential Move Transfers will be administered between their Minor Members (Alliance, GTHL, OMHA & NOHA).

Going forward the following transfer processes exist:

Any player requesting a move into TAMHA from an OHF partner, other than OMHA, must now contact their outgoing Member’s Office and request a OHF Residential Transfer form.  The remaining steps will be communicated through your outgoing office.

Any player requesting a move out of Thamesford to an OHF partner, other than OMHA, must contact Virginia Jacobsen at [email protected] to request a OHF Residential Transfer form.  The remaining steps will be communicated through Virginia.
